Vitamins and supplements with the Wegovy pill
After the 30 minutes, never with the tablet. The label puts other oral medications and food behind the same wall as breakfast, and a vitamin, a fibre powder or a collagen scoop is one or the other. The label also notes that the pill slows stomach emptying and can change how other oral products are absorbed.

The short answer
After the 30 minutes, never with the tablet. The label puts other oral medications and food behind the same wall as breakfast, and a vitamin, a fibre powder or a collagen scoop is one or the other. The label also notes that the pill slows stomach emptying and can change how other oral products are absorbed.
What the label says
From the labelAfter taking WEGOVY tablet wait at least 30 minutes before eating food, drinking beverages or taking other oral medications.
Everything a person swallows in the morning falls into one of those three words. A capsule is an oral medication. A powder in water is a beverage and food. A gummy is food. None of it belongs in the first 30 minutes.
The second thing the label says
From the labelWEGOVY causes a delay of gastric emptying and thereby has the potential to impact the absorption of concomitantly administered oral medications.
This one is about the rest of the day, not the first half hour. A slower stomach hands things to the intestine later. The label's example is levothyroxine, whose exposure rose by a third with the tablet, and its instruction is to monitor oral medications that need a tight range. Supplements are not studied, and the label does not claim anything about them either way.
What people actually do
The supplement question arrives in the second month, when the forums have convinced someone that protein, fibre and water are the three things to chase on the pill. People describe a shelf of jars and the puzzle of fitting them into a morning that begins with 30 minutes of nothing. The routine that works is the simplest: the tablet at the first alarm, the timer, then the jars with breakfast.
The other common note is about fibre and magnesium for constipation, which the label lists as a common effect and does not prescribe a remedy for. Timing, after the window; whether, with the prescriber.
Oolite's timer ends with a second reminder, so that the morning's other tablets and jars are not forgotten once the window is over.
Questions people ask
Fibre is not a medication. Does it really wait?
A fibre powder is food by any reading, and food waits 30 minutes. A fibre capsule is an oral product, and those wait too. Either way, after the timer.
Can I take my supplements with the sip of water?
No. The label says water only, up to 4 ounces, and other oral medications after at least 30 minutes.
Do supplements absorb worse on the pill?
The label says the pill delays gastric emptying and can affect the absorption of other oral products, and asks prescribers to monitor medications where that matters. It does not study supplements. Ask your pharmacist about anything you rely on.
What about magnesium for constipation?
Same rule: after the 30 minutes. Whether to take it at all is a question for your prescriber; the label lists constipation among the common effects but does not recommend a remedy.
