Foundayo vs the Wegovy pill: the morning is the difference
Two daily tablets, two molecules, two very different rulebooks. The Wegovy pill needs an empty stomach, a sip of water and 30 minutes of nothing, every morning. Foundayo can be taken at any time, with or without food. One leaves the body in weeks, the other in days. Which one works better for you is a question the labels do not answer against each other.

The short answer
Two daily tablets, two molecules, two very different rulebooks. The Wegovy pill needs an empty stomach, a sip of water and 30 minutes of nothing, every morning. Foundayo can be taken at any time, with or without food. One leaves the body in weeks, the other in days. Which one works better for you is a question the labels do not answer against each other.
What the labels say
The cleanest way to see the difference is the two administration rules next to each other.
From the labelWegovy tablets: Take orally once-daily on an empty stomach in the morning with water (up to 4 ounces). Do not take with other liquids besides water. After taking, wait at least 30 minutes before eating food, drinking beverages or taking other oral medications.
From the labelFoundayo: Take orally once daily, with or without food.
That is the whole difference in a morning. Everything else follows from the two molecules.

Why the rules differ
Semaglutide is a peptide. The stomach digests peptides, so the tablet carries a helper compound and asks for an empty stomach and a quiet half hour to let a small share through. Orforglipron is not a peptide, needs no helper, and its label asks for nothing.
The half-lives set how fast a strength settles and how much a skipped day costs in the model. The missed dose rules differ too, and only the Wegovy label ties a rule to its half-life: stopping two months before a planned pregnancy.
What people actually do
People who moved from the Wegovy pill to Foundayo describe the freedom of a tablet with breakfast, and the surprise of a missed dose rule that runs the other way. People who moved from Foundayo to the Wegovy pill describe learning the morning. Neither group can tell you which works better for you, and this page will not pretend to.
Oolite tracks both, with the rules of each: a timer for one, none for the other, the right missed dose sentence on the screen, and the level chart drawn on each molecule's own half-life.
Questions people ask
Which one works better?
The two labels report different trials with different designs, and neither compares the tablets to each other. This page does not either. What the labels compare is the rules, the steps and the speed, and those are the differences that shape a day.
Can I switch from one to the other?
Neither label describes a switch between the two molecules. A change is a new prescription, and the timing is the prescriber's.
Why is the missed dose rule opposite?
The labels do not say why. Semaglutide has a one week half-life, and its label says to skip a missed dose. Orforglipron has a 29 to 49 hour half-life, and its label says to take it as soon as possible.
Do they have the same side effects?
The same families: nausea, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting lead both lists. Foundayo's label reports them by strength; the Wegovy tablet label refers to the injection's table and adds skin sensations for the tablet.
