How to store Foundayo
At room temperature, between 68 and 77°F (20 to 25°C), out of the reach of children. That is all the current Medication Guide asks. The label of July 2026 dropped the light rule of the April version, so the carton is no longer part of the instruction. The prescribing information allows short spells between 59 and 86°F, and the tablets come in a bottle with a desiccant and a child-resistant cap.

The short answer
At room temperature, between 68 and 77°F (20 to 25°C), out of the reach of children. That is all the current Medication Guide asks. The label of July 2026 dropped the light rule of the April version, so the carton is no longer part of the instruction. The prescribing information allows short spells between 59 and 86°F, and the tablets come in a bottle with a desiccant and a child-resistant cap.
What the Medication Guide says
From the labelStore at room temperature between 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C).
From the labelKeep FOUNDAYO and all medicines out of the reach of children.
Two instructions, and the first is a temperature. The prescribing information gives the same range and allows short excursions between 59 and 86°F, 15 to 30°C.
What changed in July 2026
The first Foundayo label, in April 2026, called the tablet light sensitive and asked to keep it in its bottle and carton, cap back on after each opening. The version of July 29, 2026 removed those lines, from the prescribing information and from the Medication Guide alike. The label does not explain the change, and this page will not guess at it.
What did not change: the tablets ship in a bottle with a desiccant and a child-resistant cap, in a carton.
The semaglutide tablets have their own rule, about moisture: their label asks for the original bottle and a dry place until the day the tablet is taken.
What people actually do
Storage comes up when people travel. The bottle in a bag in the sun, or in a car's glovebox in July, sits outside even the wider range the prescribing information allows.
The routine people settle on is the plain one: the bottle in a kitchen cupboard, out of the heat, out of reach of children, and a mark made when the tablet is taken, so that remembering does not depend on where the bottle sits.
Oolite does that job: a tap on the phone or the watch marks the day.
Questions people ask
Do I still need to keep Foundayo away from light?
The current label no longer says so. The April 2026 version called the tablet light sensitive and asked for the bottle and carton; the version of July 29, 2026 removed those lines from the prescribing information and from the Medication Guide, and gives no reason. If your carton still carries the old wording, follow your pharmacist.
What temperature is too hot?
The guide gives 68 to 77°F, 20 to 25°C. The prescribing information allows excursions between 59 and 86°F, 15 to 30°C. A parked car in summer goes well past that; a kitchen cupboard does not.
Can I put Foundayo in a pill organizer?
The label does not say. It gives a temperature range, and the bottle it ships in has a desiccant and a child-resistant cap. Whether a week of tablets can live outside that bottle is a question for your pharmacist.
Does the Wegovy pill have the same rule?
No. Its rule is about moisture: original bottle until use, dry place. Foundayo's current label only gives the temperature.
