Does skipping one day of Foundayo matter?
More than with the Wegovy pill. Orforglipron's half-life is 29 to 49 hours, so a day without a tablet lowers the level by about a third in a model built on the label's half-life, and the label says to take a missed dose as soon as you remember rather than wait for tomorrow. Seven days in a row and the label restarts the escalation lower.

The short answer
More than with the Wegovy pill. Orforglipron's half-life is 29 to 49 hours, so a day without a tablet lowers the level by about a third in a model built on the label's half-life, and the label says to take a missed dose as soon as you remember rather than wait for tomorrow. Seven days in a row and the label restarts the escalation lower.
What the label says
From the labelIf a dose is missed, instruct patients to take the dose as soon as possible. Advise patients not to double up the next dose. If 7 or more consecutive doses are missed, reinitiate dosage escalation at a lower dosage to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal adverse reactions.
The label wants the missed tablet taken, not skipped. That is a different instruction from the semaglutide labels, written for a different molecule.
What one day does to the level
Orforglipron's elimination half-life is about 29 to 49 hours. In a model built on 1.6 days, close to the midpoint of 39 hours, one day without a tablet lowers the level by about 35 percent. Two days, by more than half. A week, and the level is below 5 percent. The label restarts the escalation lower after seven missed days, and gives its own reason: to reduce the risk of stomach side effects.
The same speed works in your favour. A late tablet restores most of the day. Daily tablets rebuild the plateau in about a week, where semaglutide needs four to five.
This is a model from the label's numbers, not a blood test. It is the model Oolite draws, so that a Foundayo user sees a real dip after a skipped day and a fast recovery after the next tablet.
You can draw it yourself, missed mornings included, on the pill level chart.
What people actually do
People who came to Foundayo from a semaglutide tablet bring its habit: a skipped day is nothing, take the next one tomorrow. For this tablet the label says otherwise, and the level model shows how much more a day costs. The most useful habit described on the forums is a second reminder later in the day, so that a missed morning becomes an evening tablet rather than a lost day.
Oolite asks once, later in the day, when the morning went by without a tablet, and follows the schedule the prescriber set.
Questions people ask
How fast does the level come back?
Fast. With a half-life of 29 to 49 hours (1.6 days in the model), the level reaches 90 percent of its plateau after about six days of daily tablets in the model, and one late tablet restores most of a single missed day.
Is it better to take it late than to skip?
Yes, by the label. It says to take a missed dose as soon as possible, and not to double the next one.
What counts as seven consecutive missed doses?
Seven days in a row without a tablet. At that point the label says to restart the dose escalation at a lower dosage, to reduce the risk of stomach side effects. The strength is the prescriber's call.
Why does the Wegovy pill get away with skipping?
The labels do not say why their rules differ. In the model, semaglutide's one week half-life makes a day off cost about 9 percent; orforglipron's, 29 to 49 hours, about 35 percent.
