How long does Foundayo stay in your system?
Days, not weeks. The label gives orforglipron an elimination half-life of about 29 to 49 hours, so the level falls by half in a day and a half to two days, and most of it is gone within a week of the last tablet. The same speed means the level settles after about a week on a new strength.

What the label says

Two numbers, and they are the same fact seen from two sides. A molecule that loses half of itself in about a day and a half builds its plateau in about a week, and leaves in about a week.
The arithmetic of a day and a half
Take the midpoint of the label's range, about 39 hours. After one half-life, half remains. After two, a quarter. After three, an eighth, and that is five days. After a week, a few percent. The label gives no single "gone" figure for Foundayo, and none is needed: the half-life says it.
Compare the Wegovy pill: a one week half-life, five to seven weeks to clear, four to five weeks to settle. Same idea, a different clock.
What the numbers look like drawn
Oolite draws the Foundayo level on the label's half-life, in percent of the current strength's plateau. In the model, one day without a tablet costs about 35 percent, the level is back above 90 percent three days after the tablets resume, and a new strength reaches 90 percent of its plateau on about day six. That is why the chart for Foundayo looks jagged where the Wegovy pill's looks smooth: the molecule moves fast, in both directions.

What people actually do
The speed changes habits. People describe feeling a missed day by the evening, and feeling a new strength within the week rather than the month. The label's missed dose rule is to take it as soon as possible. Its seven day rule, restart lower after a week of missed doses, comes with the label's own reason: to reduce the risk of stomach side effects.
Oolite keeps the Foundayo count on its own clock: the level chart on its own half-life, the label's missed dose sentence, and each strength on the schedule your prescriber sets, at least 30 days on each by the label.
Questions people ask
If I stop Foundayo, when is it gone?
With a half-life of about a day and a half to two days, about an eighth is left after three half-lives, which is five to six days, and a few percent after a week. The label does not give a single clearance figure; this is the arithmetic of its half-life.
Why does a new strength settle so fast?
Because each tablet's contribution fades within days, so the stack of daily tablets reaches its balance quickly. The label says steady state is reached after approximately one week of once daily administration.
Does that make a missed day worse than with the Wegovy pill?
Yes. One day without Foundayo lowers the modelled level by about a third, against about a tenth for semaglutide. The Foundayo label also says to take a missed dose as soon as possible.
Is there a pregnancy waiting rule like the Wegovy pill's two months?
The Wegovy pill's two month rule is tied to semaglutide's one week half-life. Foundayo's label has its own guidance on pregnancy and contraception, including the 30 day rule for oral contraceptives after each dose change; read it with your prescriber rather than transposing the semaglutide rule.
